Linear
Connect Linear so the Sazabi agent can file issues into your Linear workspace.
About
Connecting Linear lets the Sazabi agent create issues in your Linear workspace — turning an investigation into a tracked ticket without leaving Sazabi. Linear is an issue tracker integration.
The connection authorizes through Linear OAuth and acts on behalf of the authorizing workspace, so tickets Sazabi files appear in Linear attributed to the connected app.
Linear is also available as an MCP connector — a separate way to give the agent Linear tools.
Prerequisites
- A Linear workspace you can authorize a connection for.
- Organization admin access in Sazabi.
Set up in the dashboard
Open the Linear integration
In the dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations > Linear.
Authorize the connection
Start the connection. Sazabi redirects you to Linear to authorize access; approve it, and Linear redirects you back to Sazabi.
Set up with the CLI
The Linear authorization runs through a browser flow that the Sazabi CLI does not start today — sazabi integrations connect linear reports that Linear must be connected from the dashboard integration settings. Connect Linear in the dashboard as above.
Once connected, you can inspect the connection from the CLI (see CLI reference):
sazabi integrations list --provider linear # confirm the connection
sazabi integrations providers # see which providers connect from the CLIWork items
During an investigation the Sazabi agent can create a Linear issue and keep it current — updating fields, moving it through your workflow states, commenting on it, and linking it back to the Sazabi issue or thread — so the work lands in the tracker your team already uses.
Connected account
You can also connect your personal Linear account under Settings > Connected accounts so the agent acts as you in Linear. When you have a personal connection Sazabi uses it first and falls back to this organization integration otherwise. See Connected accounts.
Work with the agent in Linear
Linear is an agent surface — a place you can start an agent thread and read its response without leaving Linear. Assign the Sazabi agent to an issue, or mention it in an issue comment, with a free-form request; it investigates using your project's data and posts its response back in Linear. Send follow-up prompts in the same thread to continue. This keeps the work where your team already tracks it — you ask from Linear, and the answer lands in Linear.
Verify
Open Settings > Integrations > Linear and confirm the connection reads connected for your workspace. Then, in a thread, ask the agent to file a test issue into Linear, and confirm it appears in your Linear workspace. Delete the test issue in Linear afterward.
Troubleshooting
Connection shows needs attention — The OAuth authorization may have been revoked in Linear, or the token expired. Reconnect from Settings > Integrations > Linear.
Agent can't create an issue — Confirm the connection is still connected and that the authorized workspace is the one you expect.
